Lately my manager has been on my ass about telling the customers about the surveys. I usually don’t because most customers don’t care or find it annoying, and my store is all about the customer service experience and viewing things from their perspective (and we as cashiers are given the power to give the customer essentially whatever they want to give them a better experience). As a customer I almost never fill store surveys out because I don’t particularly care about them, and neither me nor my supervisor know anyone who does them on a regular basis. And they tend to
So I tried to tell my customers about it today, as I gave them their receipt. I could literally see their eyes glazing over, or rolling, or what have you. And their body language clearly indicated that they didn’t care. Every. Single. One.
But try telling that to my manager.
Because I was harassed to do these when I worked in retail, I make it my personal mission to fill out as many of these as I can.
